Whimsical Wednesday::Summer Tea Party

I love Tea Parties year round,but you can have so much fun with them in the Summer. The colors you can decorate with are amazing,and you can have them outdoors. I found some lovely inspiration for those of you planning a bridal shower,birthday party,or just a small intimate gathering with friends. Tea parties do NOT have to be stuffy,they can be light and fun.

The Finer Things

Be sure your food not only TASTES great,but LOOKS great also. You can use all different height dishes and platters and really think outside the box in terms of your display. Why not use jam jars for candles or even bake a cupcake inside them and tie ribbon around the outside?

How about this sweet keepsake tea cup with a lovely floral arrangement inside? You can pick up different teacups at thrift stores and vintage shops andcreatelittle arrangements. Why not get flowers in bulk at Costco,or from your own garden?

 Or why not homemade vanilla marshmallows in a lovely glass jar? What is my obsession with glass jars?! hehe  Here’s a great recipe at Annmarie Kostyk’s Blog.
